Everyone has selected one of the poems from their GCSE Anthology and their first task is to present a visual interpretation of these. To support this process each of the students have been given information about the historical and social context of their chosen poem (uploaded directly to their personal online journal).
The project demands both an individual response and a reference to the factual context of the poem, much as the film interpretation of “Out of the Blue” provided us. It should help the reader/listener/viewer appreciate the poem with greater depth and accuracy.
The presentation can be in the form of a data show, a film, an animation, or a series of carefully sequenced images.
